ESA's R&D department offers integrated software/hardware solutions, ready to use and/or customized according to the Customer's needs for safety management, maintenance activities, tools labelling, equipment and rolling stock, health care management, etc. We also carry out feasibility studies for the design and prototyping of new devices made on the specific requests of the Customer and not present on the market.
ESA SRL & SMART POINT SA
Smart Point System®, is an exclusive patent of Smart Point SA distributed by ESA S.r.l. It is an EEPROM memory encapsulated in a steel button which, thanks to its very small size and extraordinary resistance to any type of anthropic and/or natural stress, can be used in any environment and under any conditions. The data transcribed and stored on Smart Point® will be preserved from any risk of loss or tampering.
OUR SOLUTIONS
There are no fields of use. Our Solutions are open to such a range of markets that they cannot be summarized. Our fields of use are any reality that may need to track its processes or asset. There are no limits to this.
Water Solution
Computerization of the entire data storage system, monitoring and control of maintenance activities in the irrigation sector (ex. control of equipment status, purifiers, wastewater lifting stations, aqueducts)
Gas Solution
Management and monitoring of maintenance activities:
• Cabins and reduction systems;
• Cathodic Protection Systems;
• Mobile or stationary instruments (gas chromatography equipment, calibration instruments, equipment).
Railway Solution
Our technological Solution allows us to avoid any kind of operational misunderstanding regarding industrial plants, 1st level maintenance, the inventory of materials and rolling components, their maintenance and therefore their performances.
Sanitary Solution
Our technology allows the correct identification and traceability of: electro-medical equipment and systems, interventions carried out, patients’ identification data with basic anamnesis and their therapeutic process.
Defence Solution
The solution designed for the defence sector provides for the labelling via Smart Point® of the critical components of a vehicle and/or equipment, to ensure correct "as-maintained" configuration control.
Aeronautical Solution
The attention is placed in particular on the control of necessary resources for maintenance and carrying out of the operations.
Electronic Booklet
The Electronic Booklet of the building provides that two Smart Point® tags contain data relating to: foundations; from; steel, pillars; beams; attics; fixtures; coatings; paintings; suspended ceilings. For all sections of the building, it is possible to consult diagrams, drawings and documents.
Digital picket
It is an electronic labelling system for underground services that allows a complete management of interventions on the territory, a “mapping” of the territory and the filling of a centralized database. This involves a significant reduction in the risk of unforeseen events and also a reduction in the costs incurred by the Administration and by the managers in the execution phase of the works.
